School Trips

With over 20 years’ experience as a teacher, I love guiding school groups around the historic sites of North Wales.

Primary and Secondary School groups will be met at their chosen site and given an exciting and interactive tour of the location. It is so important that our historic sites are brought to life and tours are tailored to the age-group, group size, and curriculum requirements of the trip.

Whether it is a journey into the medieval past, looking at the building and architecture of our magnificent castles; the lives of the people who once inhabited them; the typical jobs of a person the age of the school group; the gory details, warts and all!

Or, perhaps a look into the industrial past of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Pontcysyllte, or even a horse-drawn canal boat ride for the whole group; moving further into North Wales, the slate heritage of Blaenau Ffestiniog, or the quarries at Penrhyn, with a look at the results of the slate industry in the impressive Penrhyn castle, tours can be given and arranged to suit.

I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate available on request and have up-to-date Safeguarding in Education and First Aid certificates.
